An apple a day?

I've been making some more birthday cards to have on hand. This is one which uses strips of patterned paper on a shaped mat.  This one is from the cricut storybook cartridge:

Supplies
Paper - cream card from stash, SU real red, SU summer picnic DSP
Stamps - SU tart & tangy
Ink - SU riding hood red, chocolate chip, versafine onyx black

  1. What a fun way to use up paper scraps! Very cute. Which sentiment stamp did you use for the Happy Birthday? I really like that simple font.

  2. This is pretty. I always envy when people do this with paper scraps or different ribbons, but I've never done one myself. Thanks for the inspiration!
