Crème de la Crème

Confession time - I love patterned paper but don't always use it once I've bought it. New rule - I have to use up what I've already got before I buy any more.  With that in mind, here are two simple cards which use a couple of the patterns in DCWV's La Crème stack.

I recently attended a vintage card class at my local scrapbook shop. We got a kit for various cards and I had some pieces left over so decided to make a couple of extras - notecards to give as a gift:

Butterflies

I've been experimenting with tracing butterflies with my SCAL and making my own cutting files. Here are a couple of simple cards which feature layered butterflies:

I've been redecorating

Yes, you are in the right place.  I was getting a bit tired of the old layout and it seemed like time for a change of decor! 

I love DCWV's Mariposa stack. Here's a super simple card (no stamping!) which uses one of the gorgeous patterns  from the stack. I added a bit of depth by fussy cutting the large butterfly and adhering it with a glue dot in the middle, so I could pop the wings up:
