Thinking of you

Love this butterfly stamp from Hero Arts. This card features some washi tape, and I pulled out my copics to colour the butterfly to match:

Soaring high

Time for another cheery card. A nod to my Scottish heritage perhaps? Well, actually no. My Dad changed his name and my family really hails from Austria, Hungary, Slovakia, Ukraine and the Czech Republic.

But I still love tartan.

Congratulations!

Friends of mine are expecting a baby at the end of the year.  They know it's a little boy, so I thought I might as well get a head start on the card.

I love PTI's 'Hanging Out' stamp set but couldn't justify buying it as I have a couple of similar sets. Here's my take on the washing line using the string from Banner Builder, posts and grass cut with my cricut and images from a Quickutz die set.  The 'pegs' (clothes pins) are the ends of little brown brads:

Fly away with me

I've decided I love this colour combination of grey, deep red and teal. Here's a card using PTI's Matstack 3 collection and a gorgeous balloon from Up Up and Away. Some days I wish I could fly away like this!!
