Papertrey June blog hop challenge

Hi and thanks for popping in.  The challenge this month was to use a favourite colour scheme.  My colour scheme is true black, lemon tart, hawaiian shores, hibiscus burst and orange zest.  It was inspired by an amazing pair of sandals I saw in a magazine, but it also reminds me of licorice allsorts - one of my favourite kinds of sweets :)

My card features butterflies cut with the butterfly die and embossed with the cuttlebug swiss dots folders. I used a white gel pen to highlight the dots a bit and they were edged with vintage snow pigment ink.
Notice the hawaiian shores twine? I dyed the vintage cream rustic twine to match the cardstock. The little label was cut using my cricut and the george cartridge:

Stamps - PTI mega mixed messages
Accessories - PTI butterfly die, cuttlebug swiss dots embossing folder, white gel pen, rustic twine, hawaiian shores button, foam mounting tape
