Papertrey July blog hop challenge

Hi and welcome. This month's challenge was to use office supplies in a paper crafting project. I found some fun paperclips and decided to incorporate those.

I used the linen side of the canvas/linen impression plate for my kraft layer and the torn notebook is an SVG file from Lauren Meader.  I've continued the 'office' theme with some SU designer series paper.  The flower was cut using PTI's beautiful blooms die #2.  I sewed the flower onto another heart shaped paperclip to form the leaves.

Thanks for visiting/commenting!

Supplies:
Paper - cream card from stash, SU kraft, baja breeze, Notebook DSP
Stamps - PTI YOF: violets (sentiment)
Ink - SU rose red
Accessories - Joojies heart paper clips, PTI beautiful blooms die #2, dark chocolate felt, raspberry  fizz felt, raspberry fizz button, rustic cream button twine

Moxie Fab World Challenge - elegant

Yet  another card for a Moxie challenge!  This time it's the Classy and Elegant Challenge.  I'm enjoying all the card style challenges - lots of inspiration over at the Moxie Fab World blog!

Well, on to my card.  I've used PTI's Round and Round stamp set for my focal point.  I designed the mat using SCAL and cut it with my cricut.  Super easy - just a circle and 2 hexagons welded together.  I just bought somee Versafine black ink and tried it out for this card.  Very impressed with the results - I think it's my new favourite black ink!

Supplies
Paper - PTI stamper's select white, scarlet jewel
Stamps - PTI round and round
Ink - Versafine onyx black
Accessories - ribbon, kaisercraft clear rhinestones, glue dots, bow easy

Moxie Fab World Challenge - shabby blooms

Time for another Moxie Fab World Challenge - this time it's the Card Style Shabby Chic and Vintage Challenge.  My card features PTI's 'In bloom' stamp set and some vintage lace (so I guess it qualifies for the vintage as well as the shabby part of the challenge?).

I actually enjoyed this more than I thought I would, so maybe I'm more 'shabby' at heart than I realised :)

And here's a close up of the vintage lace.  One of my great uncles was a lace salesman at one stage and my mother was given quite a few of his samples. Finally putting them to good use!:

Supplies
Paper - cream card from stash, PTI plum pudding, lavender moon, 2008 bitty box basics
Stamps - PTI in bloom, asian fusion
Ink - Memento tuxedo black, PTI plum pudding pigment, PTI vintage tea dye duo
Accessories - WR memory keepers corner chomper, vintage lace, PTI lavender moon grosgrain ribbon, plum pudding button, rustic cream button twine, glue dots

Christmas in July challenge

I saw this challenge on Jill's blog and thought it would be fun to enter.  Always good to get a head start on Christmas cards instead of waiting til the end of the year when everything is soooo busy.

I ordered PTI's vintage ornaments some time ago but haven't used it yet, so this was the perfect opportunity to try it out.  I  just bought a new camera (Panasonic Lumix TZ-10) which I'm also playing with. Very happy with the images so far - much better lens than my old camera!  Here's my card:

Supplies
Paper - PTI stamper's select white, SU baja breeze, riding hood red, cosmo cricket Jolly by Golly
Stamps - PTI vintage ornaments
Ink - SU baja breeze, riding hood red, memento tuxedo black, PTI vintage tea dye duo
Accessories - SU riding hood red taffeta ribbon, cricut die cut tag, bow easy, 2 way glue pen, clear glitter

TESC #119 Let's get together

My newest addiction is ... PTI's 'on my couch' stamp set.

Have been using it a lot just lately and thought it would be perfect for the latest Taylored Expressions sketch challenge. I added some texture to the panels with one of PTI's impression plates and the chairs are popped out using foam tape:

Supplies
Paper - PTI stamper's select white cardstock, SU baja breeze, riding hood red, pink pirouette, bella rose DSP
Stamps - PTI on my couch, on my couch additions
Ink - SU chocolate chip, riding hood red
Accessories - PTI canvas/linen impression plate, PTI chair die, SU riding hood red grosgrain ribbon, foam tape

Just Add Ink #24

Haven't taken part in any challenges just recently, but I spotted this JAI sketch challenge and thought it would be a good one to try.  Here is my take on the challenge.  I used Papertrey Ink's butterfly dreams and fancy flourishes stamp sets and the ink is from Stampin' Up!

Paper - PTI stamper's select white cardstock
Stamps - PTI butterfly dreams, fancy flourishes
Ink - SU chocolate chip, baja breeze, kiwi kiss, riding hood red, pacific point
