Best wishes

My aunt uses email but much prefers getting 'real' post delivered. So I've made a few greeting cards that I can pop in the post to her in the UK.  Here is one which came together very quickly.  Much prettier than an email too :)

Rosie birdthday card

I always like to have a few birthday cards on hand.  This one would be perfect for Amy who is a big fan of Cath Kidston and her nostalgic floral designs. This is the first time I've used the hexagons in Rosie Posie. Normally I have terrible trouble with background building sets but these were easy peasy to line up.

It's your day

What a busy week it's been. Haven't had much time to spend in the craft room, so when I got a few hours this weekend, I quickly whipped up a few cards. This is the first. Kind of a multi-purpose sentiment I guess. Could be sent for a birthday or some other celebration. And it's an easy to mail card to boot.

And thanks again

Another quick and simple thank you card, if you can bear it! Love these sparkly Prima flowers!

Thanks

I've been playing around with some scraps and border stickers from Crate Paper's Restoration collection - trying to use up the last few things in my stash of paper.  I need a few thank you cards to have on hand, so this is one I whipped up today. The butterfly is made with one of PTI's beautiful butterflies dies. Love those dies!

Cityscape

Market Street Stamps have a cute background building stamp set called Travelscapes.  There's something for every occasion and location.  I used one of the images to build this cityscape. Can't wait to try out some others!

CAS card

Here's a quick card I whipped up recently. It features Market Street Stamps' Comforting Florals. I was practicing some embossing. My favourite embossing powder is definitely Filigree Detail Embossing Powder - gives really great results and, as the name suggests, is fantastic for detailed images and small sentiments.

Happy hi

Haven't had much time for crafting just recently, so I've had to focus on some quick clean cards. I've also been wanting to use up some old paper and stickers, so this is a card that meets both requirements!  Fairly flat so easy to post as well.

Colourful thanks

Haven't had much time to craft recently as work has been to busy. I hate it when I get home exhausted and don't have the energy to make anything.  Finally managed to get a few hours in the craft room over the weekend, so whipped up a few cards. One of these was a quick and easy thank you card that used some die cuts I had left over from another project:

Yet another birthday card

Time for another birthday card - but I guess you can never have too many on hand!  I love PTI's Beautiful Butterflies and this card features both the stamps and dies. I embossed the butterflies, then stamped using the 'kissing' technique. You can see more of that in Heather Nichols' video here.

Great fun - give it a go!

WMS Sketch Challenge #100

I haven't taken part in any challenges for a while, so thought it was about time I pulled out some WMS stamps again and made a card for this week's sketch challenge. Here is the sketch:

And here's what I came up with:

Hi

It's amazing what you discover when you have a bit of a clear out and organise your supplies. I bought some cute Jenni Bowlin paper a while ago and had forgotten all about it. Decided I should whip up a couple of cards. This is one which I might send to a friend who's a bit of a Jane Austen fan:

Christmas wreath

I've been churning out window cards since I bought my Memory Box Madison window die which I described in this post.

My latest card also uses the cute shutter die and a little wreath made with a Martha Stewart punch. I'm not sure whether these are still being made, but I managed to find one on eBay. Love the effect!
