Bleached autumn leaves

This is my take on a bleach technique which Gina K demonstrates here.  I used PTI's leaf prints set and am pretty pleased with how it turned out. Tried bleaching a range of colours and the darker colours definitely work best.  Instead of using black embossing powder, I inked up my stamp using versamark followed by the black ink and embossed with clear powder:

Supplies
Paper - cream card from stash, SU bravo burgundy, kraft, PTI ripe avocado
Stamps - PTI leaf prints
Ink - versamark, versafine onyx black, PTI vintage touch tea dye duo
Accessories - clear embossing powder, PTI linen/canvas impression plate, PTI ripe avocado saddle stitch ribbon, foam mounting tape, glue dots, bleach

Glitter butterflies

Time for another birthday card. This one uses a layout I cased from Niki Estes.  I used PTI's butterfly dreams and broke out my stickles which I haven't used for a while. I'm still trying to use up some scraps so this kind of  layout is perfect for that.

The scalloped sqaures were cut with my cricut, as was the ticket shaped mat for the sentiment.  The ticket shape is from a free Penny Duncan svg file I downloaded here:

Supplies
Card - PTI stamper's select white, SU yoyo yellow, chocolate chip, good morning sunshine DSP
Stamps - PTI butterfly dreams, just the ticket
Ink - SU chocolate chip
Accessories - circut die cuts, stickles, sewing machine

Bouquet of roses

I thought it was about time I posted something that wasn't a card! Just got this cross stitch framed and am really pleased with how it turned out. When I bought it I didn't realise that it was worked on linen, not canvas but 2 years and 1 magnifying glass later, this is the result:

The cross stitch is a kit  by Thea Gouverneur called 'Rozenboeket'.

Miss you

This card features a layered flower from PTI's beautiful blooms 2 - cut out using the matching dies.  The journalling block is a digi image which I downloaded a while ago - useful to have a few of these around and the beauty of them is they don't take up any storage space:

Supplies
Paper - cream card from stash, SU baja breeze, kiwi kiss, whisper white
Stamps - PTI beautiful booms II, mega mixed messages (sentiment)
Ink - SU baha breeze, kiwi kiss
Accessories - button, digi journalling image, linen thread, PTI beautiful blooms die 2, PTI rickrack die

Howzat!

I've just made a birthday card for my Godson who is mad about all kinds of sports.  He's a talented goalie but also plays cricket, hockey, touch rugby, swims ... well you get the picture.  This is a super simple card (no stamping!) using some 3D stickers I found at my local scrapbooking shop. I embossed the large layer with PTI's woodgrain impression plate to give a bit of texture:

Supplies
Paper - PTI stamper's select white, SU chocoloate chip, riding hood red, bella rose DSP
Accessories - PTI woodgrain impression plate, stickers
