It's always tea time

I snapped up a couple of stamps in the Studio Calico sale a while back, including this cute tea time stamp. Thought it would be fun paired with a doily to act as a table cloth.  I have a few friends who love tea and this card will be perfect for one of them.

 

Floral birthday

There are a few birthdays coming up in the next few months. I never seem to have enough cards or the right cards on hand, so I thought it was a good idea to get caught up. This one features Ruby Rose from PTI. For the base I used a Project Life card - perfect size after a bit of trimming!

Time for some cards

Well I actually made a few cards this week. I need a few things for my stash - mainly birthday and thank you, plus some general greetings.

Beautiful Brushstrokes is one of my favourite sets. Here it is paired with some of the Wet Paints cuts, also from PTI.

Here's another spread from my December album which shows the transition from summer to winter! The colours in the Park Ave kit worked well for both.

I'd also been stockpiling some cards and embellishments from previous kits that would work well for cold weather pages. Love the tape!

Phew, getting caught up! On to my December album pages now. These feature Studio Calico's Park Ave kit and add-ons, plus some items from a December Daily kit. I decided not to do a separate DD album but to include extra pages in my regular album.

The first couple of spreads are in the NZ summer, before I hit England for the winter! Lots of things going on, so no shortage of photos this month. I included a few instagram pages so I could fit in a few more pics.

Oops a bit behind in sharing some pages. Just realised I never shared November pages because I got so caught up preparing for my holiday before Christmas.

November's kit from Studio Calico was the Walden kit. The colours worked well for our spring! This spread shows my Auckland marathon race. I was a bit disappointed with my time but it was a very hot day ;)
