PTI blog hop
Haven't taken part in a blog hop for a while, but I did manage to get organised this month and make a card! And here's what I came up with for the inspiration photo below:

PTI March blog hop
The theme for this month's bog hop is high gloss.
Looking for something that would give a bit of shine, I decided to give some nail polish a go. And here's what I came up with - it's a filler card for my Project Life album. Pretty pleased with how it turned out. I even managed to stamp on top of the nail polish.
It's not that easy to see in the photo, but it's pretty shiny in real life.

Supplies (PTI unless otherwise noted)
Paper - stamper's select white, sweet blush
Stamps - Avery Elle Oh Yeah
Ink - Versafine onyx black
Accessories - nail polish; Avery Elle Oh Yeah dies, white gel pen

PTI September Blog Hop Challenge
Yes, it's time for another PTI Blog Hop. This month's theme is wreaths and since I was in a home decor mood, I decided to decorate a wreath to match the Christmas tree I just finished.
So here is the wreath which also uses elements from the tree - muslin and vintage lace, a rolled zipper rose and Harvest Berry leaves. Can't wait to use both these elements in a few months time!
Supplies
Paper - Bella glitter paper
Accessories - Polystyrene wreath; muslin; vintage lace; Melissa Frances zipper ribbon; Maya Road trinket pins; Prima Flowers; satin ribbon; PTI Harvest Berry dies; PTI buttons; Cricut; glue gun

PTI August blog hop
It's a busy weekend what with Papertrey's Stamp-a-faire and the blog hop, so I thought I'd get organised early.
Welcome to this month's challenge which is to whip up a project using a sketch and colour combination that appeals. I went with this combo, mostly because I liked the sketch:
And here's my thank you card which incorporates a twine wreath and stamped flowers as well as a stamped background (realised after I'd chosen how I was going to use my colours that I don't have Hawaiian Shores patterned paper!):
Supplies (PTI unless otherwise noted)
Paper - simply chartreuse, hawaiian shores, rustic cream
Stamps - Ruby Rose, Natural Beauties, Fillable Frames 1, Polka Dot Basics II
Ink - fresh snow; Amuse various colours; Versafine Onyx Black
Accessories - button twine; rhinestone; mini brad; sewing machine

PTI July Blog Hop
Haven't taken part in a blog hop for a while but I liked the look of the colour combinations which are the inspiration for this month and thought I might have a go at a project or two. I used this inspiration photo
And here's what I came up with. It's not a card - it's an embellishment for the Project Life album I'm putting together to celebrate my niece's first year. Funny thing about this embellie - I made it for the Make it Monday spruce up your sentiments challenge - only of course there was no such challenge! Betsy Veldman's tips for using sentiments (which you can check out here) were for the Design Team Tips series. Oh well - at least I'm organised well in advance for the Blog Hop :)
Supplies
Paper - PTI stamper's select white; Project Life Designer Paper
Stamps - PTI Ruby Rose; Paper Smooches Pretty Phrases
Ink - Versafine onyx black; Amuse
Accessories - foam tape

PTI August blog hop
My herringbone stamp arrived just in the nick of time to whip up a quick card for the blog hop. Wow that stamp is huge! Glad I bought a Fiskars stamp press to use with my background stamps.
A friend gave me some cute crocheted frames so this seemed like the perfect time to out one to use. Here's what I came up with:

Ages since I've taken part in a blog hop but I managed to get a card ready this month. I recently bought Rosie Posie which seemed to fit in really well with the inspiration photo:

PTI June blog hop challenge
It's time for another PTI blog hop. Welcome and thanks for visiting.
The challenge this month was to use the photo at the bottom of the post for inspiration. I loved the gradient of colours so wanted to create a similar effect on my card:
The bikes are all digital images I printed using Photoshop. To make my gradient strip, I inked up the back of one of the Polka Dot Basics stamps with stripes of different coloured inks.
Supplies
Paper - PTI stamper's select white
Stamps - PTI Enjoy the Ride (sentiment), Polka Dot Basics II
Ink - Versafine onyx black, Memento new sprout, lady bug, rhubarb stalk, SU groovy guava, PTI aqua mist
Accessories - Bicycle png images, scor-tape, prisma glitter

Papertrey May blog hop challenge
Hi and thanks for visiting :) The challenge this month is to create something featuring flowers. I decided to make a rolled flower embellishment from felt. Melon berry felt to be precise. Here's what I came up with:
And here's a close up of the flower. I cut a circle from the felt, then cut round the circle as Maile shows in this post (scroll down a bit). I then rolled it up and secured it with fabric glue. Two stick pins act as 'leaves':
Supplies
Paper - PTI stamper's select white,Webster's Pages Hollywood Vogue patterned paper
Ink - PTI vintage tea dye duo
Accessories - PTI melon berry felt, Jenni Bowlin stick pins, sewing machine, fabric glue
