Colouring practice

I finally bit the bullet and bought some copic markers. Just a few to try out - and now I'm hooked!

It's incredibly restful just sitting quietly and colouring. Concentrating on the small picture in front of you and thinking about colour and how to shade. Reminds me of quilting - time slows down and you get caught up in what you're doing. I've started small (literally) with the new YOF Collection from PTI - the miniature versions of the flower stamps. And I'm quite pleased with my first efforts:

Paper - PTI stamper's select white
Stamps - PTI YOF Collection
Ink - Memento tuxedo black
Accessories - various copic markers

  1. Beautiful coloring, Anne! And yes, very addicting. It really helps relax me, too.

  2. Oh, my .... love those little flowers with the copics. So Sweet. You've done a great job with your first attempt. Have fun! Can't wait to see what you will create with these little gems.

  3. Huh? Only quite pleased? Seriously, you have colored those flowers as if you were born with Copics in your hand. Amazing!!!!!

  4. Wow...way better than when I attempted and dumped this aspect of cardmaking - LOL These are really know what you're doing...does not look like your first attempt at all!

  5. Anne I love your colouring. Glad you've decided to take it up because your obviously going to be good at it !! The pointsettia is especially striking !! Keep it up !!

  6. The coloring is amazing! I wish I was that good with my Copics, I seriously need more practice.
