Summer card camp 2011 week 2
It's week 2 of the 'summer' card camp and here's another yummy colour selection. The only gripe is that there are a couple two many colours for my comfort zone - 3 or maybe 4 is about my max. So guess it's good to be pushed a bit. And here's what I came up with using the daffodil image from PTI's Year of Flowers Collection:
Supplies
Paper - PTI stamper's select white, bitty box basics patterned paper, Coredinations cardstock, DCWV patterned paper
Stamps - PTI YOF Collection, Garden Variety
Ink - Versafine onyx black, Memento tuxedo black, PTI fresh snow
Accessories - seed packet frame svg, copic markers, MemrieMare cabbage rose ribbon, paper doily
Labels:
cards,
copics,
Garden Variety,
PTI,
Summer Card Camp,
YOF Collection

This is wonderful! So many things I love about this. The stamp - YES, the ribbon - YES, YES and the doily - YES, YES, YES!
ReplyDeleteYour ribbon is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteAnne.....For being out of your comfort zone, you really did an amazing job with this. I'm also being pushed because, like you, I feel best using 3-4 colors.....But think of it this way, by the time we are done, we'll have so many 5-colored Color Combinations that we will be set for life....lol ;-)
ReplyDeletewow - that ribbon is beautiful! great job!
ReplyDeleteI love this card! What a great take on the colors. Great use of texture and patterns.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous!
ReplyDeleteLove the texture...
that ribbon!!
So pretty, Anne! Love how you incorporated the colors, the seed packet, ribbon and the cardstock you used, swiped with ink. At first I thought the base had fabric on it, lol. Beautiful.
ReplyDeletewhat a great card! this is a perfect card for this color combo :)
ReplyDeleteWell it doesn't look like too much even with how many colors you had to use. And your coloring is just lovely!
