We don't celebrate Thanksgiving here, but it is good to remember to be thankful for all the blessings that we have. I was inspired by the mums (as in chrysanthemums) die that Papertrey Ink just released and went looking for a cutting file I could use with my cricut. Thanks to the SVG Cuts blog, I came across this great project featuring a 3D chrysanthemum svg file. And here's what I did with it:
Here's a close up of the 'mum':
Supplies
Paper - SU sahara sand, PTI terracotta tile, orange zest, ripe avocado
Ink - Versafine onyx black
Accessories - chrysathemum svg, thankful svg, glue gun, PTI button, glue dots
This is just beautiful Anne. I love the way you 'ruffled' all the petals on your flower - it really makes a very realistic looking piece. We're celebrating Thanksgiving here in Canada with turkey and all the trimmings! Very thankful for a warm sunny autumn day!
ReplyDeleteWow. Just wow. To be honest, I think this mum is much better than the PTI one. I like theirs but it looks less like a mum and more like an anemone if you ask me ;-). I adore the petals and the leaves of yours. Gosh does it ever look fab in the orange. Beautiful card Anne. I am thankful for your consistently high quality, inspirational craft. Thank you Madame.
ReplyDeleteWHat a beauty...this looks like and ACTUAL flower. SO so pretty, and your simple card makes it the stand out
ReplyDeleteOoh, beautiful die cut flower! Love the 3-D effect and the accompanying leaves!
ReplyDeleteI love this card! So CAS. The flower is just beautiful.
