Papertrey January blog hop
This is my first PTI blog hop so welcome and thanks for visiting! This month, Nichole challenged us to create a card that has the 'total package' with embellished interior and decorated envelope.
Must admit that the inside of my cards are usually pretty plain, so I really enjoyed the challenge this month to think about the card as a whole and to see what I could come up with.
I had to use my new favourite set which is blooming button bits and have created a mother's day card. The flowers on the front are the largest from the group of three, individually stamped and cut out, and the sentiment is also from blooming button bits.
Here is the front of the card with matching envelope:
And a close up view of the front:
This is what the inside looks like. I've layered the largest and smallest flowers and the sentiment is from birthday basics:
And I have a personalised stamp I use for the back :
Supplies:
Paper - SU baja breeze, whisper white, cream card from stash, bella rose designer paper
Stamps - PTI blooming button bits, birthday basics
Ink - SU riding hood red, kiwi kiss, chocolate chip
Accessories - cricut scallop cut, We R memory keepers corner chomper, my mind's eye buttons, SU linen thread, SU kiwi kiss ribbon
