I haven't made any cards for a few days as we've been having the carpets cleaned, so thought I would 'celebrate' the end of the process by taking part in Dawn's latest colour challenge.
Love this colour combination and wanted to try out my new set from Papertrey Ink - blooming button bits. I managed to find a couple of vintage buttons and also tried to use up a few scraps. The distressed cream paper is from a pack of handmade postcards that a friend gave me a few years ago. I've never used them for writing, but they've been very useful for cards. And the blue piece was 'rescued' from a project that didn't quite go according to plan. Here is what I came up with:
Supplies
Paper - SU chocolate chip, baja breeze, cream paper from stash
Stamps - PTI blooming button bits, background basics - retro
Ink - SU chocolate chip
Accessories - buttons, making memories buttercream ribbon selection, foam mounting tape
Great card! I love the buttons!
