At the weekend I went to a vintage Christmas card class at my local scrapbook store. Vintage isn't really my thing, but we got to try out some new techniques like micro beads, image transfer and crackle effects. I had a lot of fun and might be brave enough to try a few more cards like this:
Supplies
Paper - PTI stamper's select white card stock, card stock & patterned paper from kit, Kathleen Green collage sheet
Accessories - Ranger crackle accents, red rhinestones, black lace trim, sewing machine
This is beautiful! Very vintage looking! Love the sewing too. I struggle with this style, too. And wow, I would have LOVED that class - sounds like techniques I would love to play with!
ReplyDeleteThis is a very sweet card - the image panel really creates that vintage look. I like the way the holly leaves are added across the bottom. I always learn so much when I go to classes at my local scrapbooking store, too.
ReplyDeleteLove the vintage christmas card, Annie! I love the holly leaves and how you did the sentiment. Love it all :)
