I thought I'd take part in the Christmas Countdown on the papertrey Ink forums - trying to spread the making of Christmas cards and gifts throughout the year, rather than leaving it all to November!
I've finally made my first card using the Year of Flowers: Poinsettias set:
One down ??? to go...
Supplies
Paper - PTI stamper's select white, patterned paper - Bo Bunny
Stamps - PTI YOF: Poinsettias
Ink - Versafine onyx black, vintage tea dye duo
Accessories -PTI linen/canvas impression plate, Kaisercraft red rinestones, Tattered Angels gold glimmer mist, foam tape
This is just lovely, Anne. This is on my wish list for next fall/Christmas, but now I may have to bump that one up!! Great idea to start earlier. the glimmer mist and tea dye really give a vintage feel to the pointsettia image.

So pretty! I love the shimmery gold on sheen I see!
ReplyDeleteAgain, my reader shows me a post that doesn't seem available on your blog. But I wanted to comment on how beautiful that double bow is ad how elegant this purple card looks - love it! Hope you're doing fine in your neck of the woods :) Best wishes from sunny Heidelberg!
