Summer card camp 2011 week 3

Hi and thanks for popping by. Well, the time is flying by and it's week 3 of the card camp. This week's colour combo is a much more muted neutral palette.  Love that pop of red, though. And this is what I came up with. Needed to make a birthday card for a friend, so the timing was perfect.  She's a big fan of red, so hope she likes it.  I made my own flower embellishment by gathering ribbon into a rosette shape:

Photobucket

Supplies
Paper - PTI kraft, Basic Grey Curio patterned paper
Stamps - PTI Just the Ticket, Turning a New Leaf
Ink - Versamark, Memento cocoa, PTI fresh snow
Accessories - PTI linen canvas impression plate, clear embossing powder, leaf svg, PTI pure poppy saddle stitch ribbon, coconut shell button
