I was inspired by Dawn McVey's Gratitude Journal stamp set to make a journal of my own. I decided to use PTI's coasters as covers, so my album is 4 inches square and bound with a D ring. Jenni Bowlin's Haven paper collection turned out to be exactly the right size.
I decorated my book with journaling blocks, chipboard pieces and various little tags and doodads. Danielle Flanders gives instructions for the little twine 'flowers' here on her blog.

Fantastic Journal, Anne! Love the black & white theme and the use of coasters! Now you have prompted me to do something similar with mine! :)
ReplyDeleteWonderful pages for your journal, Anne. The coasters really make a neat size for a journal and all the details you've added to each page makes for some special touches.
