It's been very interesting re-reading my travel journal from that time as well as many of the letters I sent home to my parents, which my mother saved for me. I'm not much of a journal-keeper, but I can certainly see the value of my diary all these years later in terms of all the details that I'd completely forgotten!
Hope to share some of my layouts during the month.
That's a good idea to scan your pics, I have a box of photos that I keep meaning to make a start on.
ReplyDeleteI also carry a travel journal, a great way to remember the little things about a trip
ReplyDeletehow cool! I have boxes of photos to scrapbook - must get started on that!
ReplyDeleteI never think to keep a journal until I get home and I'm like "wait. What just happened?" Awesome that you have the reminder of your letters home!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful way to remember those days. I have never been much of a writer, so I don't have anything like this to reflect back on.
ReplyDeleteLove that you have the letters to remember the adventures. What a great keepsake!
ReplyDeleteOh, gosh, what a treasure to have those letters and pair with your photos! You're so lucky! Have fun with the process and look forward to seeing.
