Beate's Weekend Sketch Challenge #106

I have two cards to share for Beate's Weekend Sketch Challenge.   The first is a simple Christmas card.  I wanted to try some paper piercing and also an idea I saw for using double-sided tape to make a glitter strip. Both cards measure 15 x 10.5cm.  For those of us using A4 card, the base is an A4 sheet cut in half.

Supplies:
Paper - SU Kraft, chocolate chip
Accessories - double-sided tape, glitter, SU felt flurries, paper piercer

My second card uses a similar colour scheme but was designed as a greeting card.  I started by stamping the background randomly with one of the leaves from SU's petite posies.  The flowers were cut using the boho blossoms punch and popped up using dimensionals.  I was planning to use ribbon but couldn't find anything narrow enough so instead cut a thin strip of red card to give a similar effect.

Supplies:
Stamps - SU petite posies, Papertrey Ink mega mixed messages
Paper - SU Kraft, chocolate chip, riding hood red, kiwi kiss, baja breeze, bella rose designer paper
Ink - SU riding hood red, kiwi kiss
Accessories - SU boho blossoms punch, dimensionals
