Packaging

It's that time of year when you need simple but effective packaging ideas. I've just packed up a birthday present for a friend and made a 'box in a bag' using this tutorial from Splitcoast Stampers. I just altered the size to fit my gift. It was very easy and I'm pleased with the result (and I think my friend will be too!) I used double sided designer series paper from SU which works really well:

And a view looking from the top:

Supplies
Paper - SU baja breeze, rose red, Cutie Pie DSP
Accessories - scor tape, apron lace punch, making memories ribbon, hole punch, white gel pen, curved tab svg file

  1. This is just adorable! I thought it was a real (as in leather/cloth) type bag and was thinking about what an awesome seamstress you were, too! I love the colors used in this striped pattern.....Very pretty. I'm sure she will love it!

  6. At first I thought this was a sewn fabric bag - It is absolutely adorable. like how you used the tab at the top to insert the ribbon and the colour choices are perfect.
