Cardstock challenge

I use a lot of white cardstock for my scrapbook layouts. Patterned paper also gets a look-in, but I rarely use coloured cardstock these days. So I thought I'd challenge myself to use something other than white for a background for these pics from Toledo, Spain. I quite like the effect, but don't think grey will be displacing white just yet!

  1. I am finding the same thing with my scrapbooking. I used to use cardstock all the time, but now, I use PP almost exclusively. I need to challenge myself to break out the cardstock that is not black or white.

  2. I always start with cardstock and I find it quite easy to use, yellow, green or red backgrounds, but other colours are a bit tricky.

  3. Love the aqua and yellow with the gray. My go to cardstock colors are white, black, gray, brown and navy. I consider them all neutral. I tend to use a lot of pattern paper as well. Definitely need to break out the different colors for backgrounds.

  4. I use mostly patterned paper these days and then sometimes mat the photos with a coordinating cardstock.

  5. Those are the colors I have picked out for my scrapbook room! I have to challenge myself to use my colored cardstock as well. If I haven't used any for a while, I'll dig into my stash to challenge myself.
